Mid Atlantic Bermuda Diving
Bermuda

Bathed by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, but well outside the confines of the Caribbean, this coral reef-fringed island is located 650 miles west of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. Drenched in history as well as stunning beaches and resorts, the surrounding waters are home to over 400 shipwrecks, some centuries old, that met their demise on Bermuda's extensive reef system. Bermuda's exclusive Shipwreck Certificate program allows divers to take home a bit of history in exchange for supporting their "hands-off" policies protected by law.

Blue Water Divers

This full-service dive shop was established over 25 years ago and offers access to Bermuda’s pristine reefs and unique Shipwreck Certificate Program. Bermuda arguably has the best shallow water wreck diving in the western hemisphere—not to mention the 280 square miles of reef area. Diving is done from two 36-foot Newton dive boats, Tsunami and Rum Line, on a year-round basis, albeit less frequently in the cooler seasons. The main location in Somerset is convenient to a number of resorts on Bermuda’s northwest coast including 9 Beaches.
